My art group, Clay Cross art Group, are exhibiting and selling artwork as part of Late-Night Shopping on Thursday 1st December 2016. Our exhibition will be up from 2pm at Smithybrook, Clay Cross. Come and buy truly original Christmas gifts.
Better late than never! What a fab weekend in the Strutt Centre, Belper. This was a new venue to the trail but we had a constant flow of visitors over the weekend, although the heat was intense outside and people were starting to flag in the late afternoons of both days. Sold a large painting and several prints and cards so a successful weekend for me. Oddly, the painting I sold was one I had left in the car as it was too big for the stand but offered to show it to the customer when they expressed an interest in abstract landscapes. Perhaps leaving paintings in the car is the way to go! A well organised and very well supported arts trail.
AS part of Clay Cross Art Group, I will be exhibiting this Saturday 11th November on Chesterfield market (near H & M). If you happen to be in the area, please pop along and say hello. Original art from some fab artists as well as cards and handmade Christmas decorations.

Sold this painting to a local collector and got a commission for a similar one for her friend… so a good week so far!
What a fab weekend at Belper Arts Trail 2017 at Creartii. Met some lovely people including previous customers and sold these five paintings!
